well i already have posted, but, i'll intoduce myself. i am ken barber. i am 55, 56 in a few days. i live in the atlanta metro area. i have cerebral palsy (cp) from birth. i was "retired" after my job finished off the ability i had. i had not much becouse of the cp, but i made a 30 year coreer before getting repetitive stress injuries. now i am totally disabled. i did work for the u.s. government, which is taking the position that my problems are not job related injuries, but rather "natural progression of cp." the only catch is that cp is not a progressive condition. i am fighting for workers comp against a mighty big bureaucracy. the U.S. DEPT OF LABOR.
i have a wife 2 children and two grand babies. they are indeed grand. my youngest, benjamin will be going to college next year. to do what? he does not know yet.
glad to be abord.
